Namine has been very excited about her recital for some time. After practicing her songs a couple more times that morning, she declared herself officially ready.

The recital itself was an informal affair; students could come anytime in the three-hour window, get in line and play whenever they liked. We waited for a little while after we got there for some other family members to arrive, then Namine and I got in line.
After the recital was done with, my mom asked if any of her students wanted to play a duet. Namine and several other kids got in line again.
