Namine has had a lot of clinic appointments lately, the latest being at the seating clinic. The appointment at the seating clinic, where Namine goes for measurements and fittings for the wheelchair and walker, went well.
Namine relishes any chance she gets to go in her wheelchair. It’s all hers, after all, and she’s proud of it. She especially likes to show off, as she did yesterday at the clinic, popping wheelies and spinning in circles. My aunt has an adult wheelchair at her house. Having tried to follow Namine as she zooms across the back porch, I can say with no uncertainty that its control requires deft hand and trained muscles. That fine control is something that Namine has had the time to develop; it has paid off, and it shows.
