Persistent ear infection

I would love to be able to write “the ear infection is gone.” Alas, it is not to be. Jessica and my mom took Namine in to the ENT clinic this morning, where they found that Namine’s ear infection is still there. Smaller, but still there. That means, among other things, that we cannot yet…

I would love to be able to write “the ear infection is gone.” Alas, it is not to be. Jessica and my mom took Namine in to the ENT clinic this morning, where they found that Namine’s ear infection is still there. Smaller, but still there. That means, among other things, that we cannot yet give her a bath.

It also means that Namine can’t have pool therapy, either. As soon as she is able, we’ll be getting some earplugs for her. We’re not sure – of course, you can never be sure – but we think this whole ear infection nonsense all started with pool therapy, to begin with. Either way, ear plugs are definitely the right course of action here.

  1. I hope she gets over the ear infection soon.

At least she’s not having any pain.

  3. Hardware stores, such as Menards & Lowes, carry jars of disposable ear plugs that can be molded (somewhat) for different size ears, but I’m not sure they are tiny enough for kids. I hope it clears up soon.

  4. Cling wrap ear muffs ;)

  5. @Mom That we know of. Remember, she doesn’t show pain.

  6. @CR We’ll actually be able to get special earplugs through insurance, because it’s for therapy.
