Okay, guys. I have no idea what’s going on here. A whole lot of people seem to have lost all their notes, with no explanation as to why. Here’s what I have in mind.

I have never run into this problem, which is why it baffles me so much. But if anyone who’s willing to export their current settings would be so kind as to send them to me, I’ll take a look and try to figure out what’s going wrong.

There’s nothing in Sticky Notes that should tell it to clear out the cache on a new version. (Obviously, since I’ve never had this issue with my own installations.) But aside from sending me exported settings, here’s what I’d like you to check. Make sure Chrome isn’t set to clear out the cache on exit. Let me know what you find, if you’re willing to check. Thanks in advance.

    Please implement synchronize option. It’s the only reason I’m not using sticky notes

    i lost mine too.. i made almost 17 notes but it only displays one note. Editing titles and background colors are also not working…

    Pretty intuitive interface. I like the fact you can put the notes anywhere on the page. Syncing would add to its value. Great effort.

    Hello Paul. Thank you for develloping Sticky Notes. It’s one of my favorites Apps. Let me advance one sugestion: having the possibility to export sticky notes to a backup file. It would help users to feel more secure and would all help us to prevent any bug or misoperation of Chrome. Thank you and continue the good work.

    Paul, I thought I lost all my notes, but I found that they are still there if I go to settings and do nothing but his save. The problem I have now is that I have to do this every time I open my browser (chrome). When I first open my browser, I get a blank generic gray background with no notes, so I have to go to settings and save, then everything is there. Thanks for your efforts!
